§ 4-57. Building codes adopted.

  • The North Carolina State Building Codes, General Construction, Existing Buildings, Accessibility, Administration & Enforcement, Energy, One & Two Family Dwellings, and Manufactured/Mobile Homes, as adopted by the North Carolina Building Code Council and as amended from time to time, is hereby adopted by reference as fully as though set forth in this section as the building code of the county to the extent such code is applicable for safe and stable design, methods of construction, minimum standards and use of materials in buildings or structures erected, enlarged, altered, repaired or otherwise constructed or reconstructed after the effective date of the ordinance from which this section derives.
